WITH YOUR HELP WE HAVE DEFEATED COVID-19

 

Hello, Daphna and Uri,

 

I hope you both are well during these uncertain times.

Now that we are beginning to go back to normal activities, I have found the time to write you.

During the period of time when the children of Beit Issie Shapiro were at home, our incredible team continued to work 24/7 in order to support them and their families.  That included emotional support, learning, therapy, and more.

We used technology in many different ways, with a lot of learning while in motion.

 

We shared our work with many establishments both in Israel and abroad, and received great feedback. All over Israel, families enjoyed our videos posted by staff to the unique YouTube channels, which, of course, included iPad activities.

Undoubtfully, all this would not have been able to happen, had our staff not received iPads from you. Moreover, we feel that thanks to the training they received (we organized in-house training, which was excellent), they showed wonderful technological abilities and great flexibility.

 

So, thank you very much! I am sure you already know this, but it's important for us to say and remind you, that your project has a tremendous importance and effect on the lives of children with disabilities.

In addition, we had many activities not shown in the videos, which have to do with remote learning, assignments, etc., which were given to the children via the iPads.

 

As you can see, we succeeded in squeezing the lemons into lemonade, and are now hoping to go back to our routine.
